| Mother Nature has done some pretty good design work on her own over the years. Few can really improve on the natural beauty of mountains, forests and rivers. But we think Isamu Noguchi has come pretty close with his playful yet highly functional Freeform Sofa Ottoman. Noguchi's inspiration is the smoothed pebbles found in streams and rivers. Gently curving and softly turning, the three 'stones' that form the sofa and ottoman look like they have just been pulled out of a nearby river. Our own version is true to the original, which Noguchi first created in 1948. |
