Introduced in 1948 this masterpiece was originally designed by Finish designer Eero Saarinen. Saarinen's approach in designing this chair and ottoman, was to create a lounge chair that can be comfortable as well as modern, always having in mind that people enjoy seating different ways.The organic shape of this chair creates the perfect seating experience by allowing your arms to rest freely on the foam-fabric upholstered site wings. The chair envelops you in relaxing, sumptuous comfort. The molding foam over a fiberglass shell, was able to create a one-piece form that wraps you in a blanket of warming comfort. The slender steel rod base is finished in a highly polished chrome plate. A matching ottoman completes the set. Ottoman sold separately.
