If you dream of heading to Lutece in one of Betty Draper's wasp-waisted gowns, or heating things up in the office in a Joan Holloway-style curvy confection, you're in luck. In a recent interview with Glamour’s style blog "Slaves to Fashion," "Mad Men” costume designer Janie Bryant revealed she plans to launch a collection of her own designs in the near future. That’s about all she could reveal, as the details are all very hush-hush at this point. But it will be the culmination of a whirlwind year for Bryant, who will be coming full circle after starting her career as a fashion designer. "Mad Men" style is all the rage in Hollywood and beyond – actress Anne Hathaway congratulated Bryant for "changing the face of fashion," and her work on the acclaimed series is nominated for a Costume Designers Guild Award. Meanwhile, fashion industry notables like Thom Browne and Michael Kors claim that they have both been inspired by the show. For those looking to mimic "Mad Men" style before Bryant's mysterious collection comes out, she suggests mixing vintage looks with modern ones, like a vintage blouse with skinny jeans or a shirtwaist dress with modern shoes. After all, you want to look “Mad,” but not completely crazy!
